Biography
Aineias Tsamatis was born in Elbasan, Albania, on November 16, 1984. He graduated from the Modern Music School of Athens (MMS) in 2007 and from Nellie Karraâs Higher School of Dramatic Art ARCHI in 2011. He acts, writes, and directs for cinema and the theater. In 2021, he directed his first short film, âThe Crossing,â together with Katerina Mavrogeorgi. In the theater, he has collaborated as an actor with Dimitris Karantzas (âThe Persians,â âLong Dayâs Journey into Night,â âThree Sisters,â âNephele,â âTwelfth Night,â âThe Waves,â âSladekâ), Aris Biniaris (âWake Up, Vassiliâ), Ektoras Lygizos (âHamletâ), Lena Kitsopoulou (âBlood Weddingâ), Argyro Chioti (âThe Libation Bearersâ), Nikita MilivojeviÄâs (âLucrezia Borgiaâ), Kostantin Bokomolov (âDemonsâ), Pantelis Dentakis (âDear Herbert,â âPenthesileaâ) Pantelis Flatsousis (âNational Fashion Showâ), Natasha Triantafylli (âWaiting for Godot,â âBrothers Karamazovâ), Marianna Calbari (âThe Island of Slavesâ), Efi Gousi (âCleansedâ), Yiannis Skourletis (âSTELLA Travel â The Recited Landâ), and Takis Tzamarias (âOur Little Townâ). In cinema, he has collaborated with Stelios Kammitsis (âJerksâ), Constantina Voulgaris (âA.C.A.B. All Cats Are Brilliantâ), Yorgos Zois (âInterruptionâ), Pantelis Voulgaris (âLittle England,â âThe Last Noteâ), Stavros Tsiolis (âWomen Who Passed My Wayâ), Sepideh Farsi (âI Will Cross Tomorrowâ), Nicholas Dimitropoulos (âEchoes of the Pastâ), Thanos Anastopoulos (âTravelling Ghostsâ), and Mariano Pensotti (âThe Audienceâ). In television, he has participated in the series âDark Sea,â âPostcards,â âOne Îight in August.â
